The Red Crescent society of India is a registered body under the Charitable Trust Act. Of 1950 at Mumbai having 80 G sanction. For its contributions to the service of Mankind the Prajapita Brahma Kumari's Ishwariya Vishwa Vidayala,complimented the Red Crescent society of India and honored its chairman Mr. Arshad Siddiqui as the Special Guest at the World Politicians Conference, with their conviction that Mr. Arshad Siddiqui (In their wording) is a II Vital link between the Creator and present mankind. The foresaid Vidyalaya is one of the largest spirituous social organizations having the network of more than 6200 branches in India and 52 other countries.
Dear friends, I take great pride in the achievements of Red Crescent Society of India. At the outset let me thank all the volunteers, doctors and social organisations for helping us in our endeavour of services for the community. Red Crescent Society of India has already achieved the mark of 10 lack vaccinations in Maharashtra in its Hepatitis-B Vaccination Programme. A We have spread our wings to the other state also and our programmes have been launched in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Gujarat earthquake was a national disaster and our society decided to act in every way for the relief of the victims. we successfully provided treatment to more than 50,000 patients in our camp at Anjar which was functioning round the clock, and in other affected areas besides the tons of relief material that was sent from Mumbai. It was a favour of National Unity that I saw in the rallies and collection drives for the victims. Red Crescent Society of India pledges to undertake many more programmes for the benefits of the people. I seek your blessings for the same. Society also called for India Hepatitis B free in 1990 & vaccinated more than 1 Crore citizens. Hepatitis B 3 Doses which was very different task to follow 3 months to complete the course. This was National call supported by all works of life like film stars, professionals, doctors, students it was like a festival in India, ultimately Government of India made it mandatory to all hospitals to vaccinate the childrens for Hepatitis A, B & C free of cost due to the public awareness nationwide call given by our society. Our society has around 1 million volunteers and 25 thousand Doctors Nationwide dedicated and ready to volunteer their self in one call within 2 hours. Since they are professionals we take their services for week or fortnight. Then we do shifting for other doctors. Till now we have tried to avoid general public donation as our key members are blessed by God to contribute till now as whatever requirement has arise. Our society’s major achievement is as followed.
